1. Acceptance

By accessing PitchLoft, joining the waitlist, submitting feedback, or clicking Search funding (or otherwise starting a funding search), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What PitchLoft is

PitchLoft helps student founders discover non-dilutive funding opportunities such as grants and pitch competitions. We may show curated listings (reviewed for publication) and found online listings (discovered automatically and unverified). PitchLoft is an information and discovery tool, not a grantmaker, school, bank, law firm, or application portal.

3. Beta / early access

PitchLoft is in beta. Features, coverage, and accuracy may change. Listings may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, miscategorized, or incorrect. Search results (including live web discovery) are provided as-is for convenience.

4. Your responsibility to verify

You are solely responsible for confirming every opportunity on the official organization or school website before applying, including eligibility, deadlines, prize or award amounts, application requirements, and any geographic or school restrictions. Do not rely solely on PitchLoft summaries, amounts, or deadlines.

5. No guarantees

We do not guarantee that any listing is available, open, accurate, or suitable for you. We do not guarantee funding, admission, prizes, or outcomes from any opportunity you discover through PitchLoft. We are not responsible for third-party websites, applications, or decisions by funders or schools.

6. Acceptable use

• Use PitchLoft only for lawful purposes related to discovering student-founder funding information.
• Do not abuse, scrape, or overwhelm our systems beyond normal interactive use, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the service.
• Do not submit false, harmful, or unlawful content via waitlist, feedback, or other forms.

7. Intellectual property

PitchLoft's branding, site design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Opportunity descriptions may summarize publicly available third-party information; those opportunities and their materials remain owned by their respective organizations. You may not copy or redistribute our site for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Feedback

If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them to operate and improve PitchLoft without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PITCHLOFT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY LISTING. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS (IF ANY), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless PitchLoft and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your applications to third-party opportunities, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as PitchLoft evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes, including clicking Search funding, means you accept the updated Terms.
